Our Journey

1834

Calzoni was founded in Bologna, Italy. The main products were steam powered machines for agriculture applications.​

1867

Calzoni became the first Italian manufacturer of water turbines.

1920

Calzoni extended the production to vane motors, variable displacement vane pumps, various oil hydraulic controls andactuators and developed controlling systems for submarines & minesweepers.

1973

A new concept of HTLS motor was invented as high efficiency actuator for radar antenna drive in submarines​.

1990

Calzoni Motors Division founded for manufacturing & sales of HTLS​ 

1998

Calzoni motors Division became an independent company named Riva Calzoni Oleodinamica Spa 

2000

Riva Calzoni Oleodinamica was acquired Denison Hydraulics 

2004

​The company was acquired, together with whole Denison Hydraulics, by Parker Hannifin

2024

​The company was acquired by Pipe GmbH & Co. KG, with foundation of Calzoni Hydraulics​ Italy Srl and Calzoni Hydraulics Germany GmbH
