The dual/variable displacement function is accomplished by having the eccentric cam free to move radially, changing its eccentricity and consequently the motor’s displacement. Hydraulic cylinders located in the drive shaft are used to control the radial movement of the cam, commanding the displacement change. In MRV series an additional valve allows the step-by-step movement of the piloting cylinders, granting fully variable operation.
